When I was 13, I applied to Southeast Career Technical Academy, SECTA for short, a Magnet High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. I applied for three different majors, Culinary, Nursing, and Graphic Design. I got into the Graphic Program. I spent the next 4 years learning how to do basic designs and illustrations in various Adobe Programs, most of which were fun and intriguing, others make me groan out loud to this day. It had its ups and downs. Four years, three teachers of varying qualifications, and a whole lot of coffee later, here I am. I am 17 years old, about to graduate from High School. As I'm writing this, (01/14/2020) I'm helping a friend of mine build a garage in her back yard, I'm attempting to get my insurance to pay for my hand surgery, and I'm about to start intramurals for the varsity swim team for the fourth year in a row. I'm proud of what I've achieved in these 4 years, and cannot wait to see what comes next.
